I have stayed here a couple of times now,... it is OK. The bar and restaurant are fine and the rooms are adequate. Biggest grumble is the bloody shower curtains which are HUGE! You end up walking on them in the shower they are so big!
Rooms clean and comfortable bed, restaurant food was good. I definitely would use again if I come to Atherton again.
Heard the seafood basket here was great. It isn't. What it is, is fried pieces of frozen, not fresh seafood, accompanied by fries and a less than appetizing side salad. Paid $23 for this when I would've happily paid up to $15 for it. Who likes to pay city prices for flash fried frozen seafood? Not me, so for my money, this is not good enough. Won't return for a meal in future given the quality of meal was way overpriced for what was served. Disappointing. Positives...friendly service by the young lady, clean, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating and room to manoeuvre wheelchairs and the like, cold air-con.
Wonderful atmosphere and staff, very tidy well present bar, large undercover smoking area, large choice in pokie machines. Very happy with my time spent there
