Steep climb but was good. Great view
Great walk, If your looking for a challanging hike, it's a great way to see Atherton from a birds eye view at dawn, just take some bug spray in your kit to keep the mozzies at bay.
What i like about this walk is it get your heart rate up and the view is excellent looking over Atherton and if you continue the loop to Mt Yabi the rainforest a peaceful hike .
We came round the back way to Mount Baldy. We took two and a half hours but the gradients were less demanding. There was a thin covering of fog at the summit which spoiled the views but shielded us from the heat of the sun.
Track well kept and easy to follow. Took kids ranging from 6 to 13 and all made it the top under their own steam. Once at the top the view is great. Allow 2 hrs with kids which is plenty of time. To not rush and enjoy
