We needed the dryers in the laundromat and so it was perfect that we could get all our drying done in 2 machines. The only thing I was shocked about was the $1 for 7 minutes. It's been a long time since I've needed a laundromat and was shocked at the expense. I suppose that's the cost of electricity these days.
It's a handy place if you're traveling and need to wash your clothes. As well as the normal top-loading washing machines and front-loading dryers, there's a commercial size front-loading washing machine that's very handy for families.
