Excellent cafe! Well worth looking up. Might get to say hi to Wendell the black toy poodle - so cute and well behaved - when his owner comes for his (daily?) coffee.They need to sort out the menus though - (print the new ones) and sort out the naming of the breakfast egg dishes: "Gallery 5 Eggs" are clearly Eggs Benedict, and the "Eggs Benedict" aren't. Suggest calling this (delicious) item "Gallery 5 Eggs"!
Great fast and friendly service. Good food. I loved the chicken pot pie and the coffee was delicious.
Although I no longer live in Atherton, Gallery 5 is always on my "must do" list on my annual visits. The chicken pot pie and salad is a fav. Drinks always made perfectly.
We had a good basic meal followed by very disappointing takeaway coffees. Our small takeaways were the 4th and 5th drinks poured from the same textured milk and were pretty much water. Paying a premium price for a coffee you cant take more than three sips from is extremely frustrating.
